Homo Sapience
Manifest
The internet was built by people — for people. It is time to protect that.
The Problem
By 2025, most internet traffic is generated not by humans. Bots write comments, inflate votes, leave fake reviews, register thousands of accounts, and participate in surveys. The digital space has lost its defining property — it has stopped being human.
The problem is deeper than it seems. Existing solutions — CAPTCHA, SMS verification, KYC — are either easily bypassed or require identity disclosure. There is no open standard that allows proving humanity anonymously, without a passport or biometric scan.
Anyone can create a thousand accounts. Any bot can write that it is human. No service today can verify this claim — without intrusive surveillance or a centralised database.
Solution: APTOGON as a Protocol
APTOGON is not a replacement for the internet. It is a verification layer built on top — like HTTPS on top of HTTP. It adds one new primitive: HumanCredential — a cryptographically verified, on-chain proof that a living human is behind an action.
Verification is based on gesture biometrics, not identity. The system analyses movement statistics — speed variability, pause entropy, rhythm irregularity — without storing coordinates or shapes. This is what bots and AI agents cannot reliably imitate.
How it works
- User draws a gesture — movement statistics processed on-device
- Anonymous feature vector (no raw coordinates, no identity) sent to the backend
- Result: is_human + confidence — zero personal data stored
- On success, an Ed25519 DID is generated in the browser
- SHA3-256 hash of the proof written to Aptos blockchain (on-chain HumanCredential)
Practical Applications
One DID = one respondent. Duplicate submissions, click farms, and incentive hunters are eliminated at the source. On-chain proof makes every dataset auditable.
Ban evaders return in seconds with a new email. A device-bound DID actually bans the human — not just the account. Voting, ratings, and moderation work again.
One person with 50 annotator accounts can poison an entire training dataset. APTOGON ties each annotator to a physical device, making sybil attacks mathematically expensive.
One human, one vote. No Sybil attacks, no wallet farms capturing governance. APTOGON is the only provider with a real on-chain HumanCredential on Aptos.
A Verified Human badge appears for real people. Discussion quality changes instantly — not through censorship, but through trust in the source.
The exam was passed by a human, not an AI. An online diploma has meaning when there is proof of who earned it — without storing a government ID.
Monetisation & Sustainability
APTOGON exists as an open protocol with a transparent pay-per-verification model. Verifying your own humanity is always free — this is a principle. Platforms pay for verifying their users.
Platforms pay for verifying their users — just as they now pay for reCAPTCHA and fraud detection, but more honestly, transparently, and without sharing data with third parties. No setup fee, no minimum contract. Enterprise and white-label available on request.
Growing the Community
Early adopters are communities already hurting from bots: developers, DAO members, market researchers, forum moderators, AI labeling platforms. For them, verification is not a barrier — it is a privilege.
Verified Human badge — The Verified Human badge on a profile is the new blue checkmark that cannot be bought. It cannot be faked or transferred. It proves not fame — but existence.
APTOGON Chat is the first live deployment — a real-time human-only space with rooms, DMs, and file sharing. The bond/vouch graph lets verified members strengthen the trust of others. Four verticals are live: Market Research, Communities, AI Data Labeling, and Web3/DAOs.
"The internet must remember that humans are behind it. APTOGON is the cryptographic proof of that."
